plus size wedding wears for maternity brides

My # sundayshoutout goes to this beautiful new momma, PK!
Peta recently posted an inspiring post going out to moms and honoring how magical our bodies are!

Thank you for this reminder as I grow and my body changes. I must honor it, love what it's doing... growing a tiny human!... and embrace it all!! ????

"A week apart. The photo on the left, the last day we were pregnant. On the right, 6 days after this beautiful body birthed her.

An ode to my body.

Body I bow to you.

I don't even know what adjective I'd use to describe you- phenomenal, beautiful, incredible, badass?

You are just pure magic.

I've never witnessed anything like the grace, love, and intelligence you showed me as we conceived, carried and birthed a beautiful healthy baby.

I'd never loved you more than the few days before we gave birth- feeling you prepare so subtly but so perfectly.

But then during labour I loved you even more. You opened, stretched and took me to my edge, to show me what we were capable of together with just the two magic ingredients- trust and breath.

But then I loved you even more when she was born. You gifted her to me, you let me witness you and Mother Nature and your most creative expression of the universe there is.
But then in the week following birth I loved you even more. Feeling you heal and recover and turn from a birthing goddess to a milking goddess. Witnessing how fucking brilliant you are- allowing each breastfeed to contract my uterus back to size. I was tender and sore, but never more grateful. plus size wedding wears for maternity brides

But then when I woke up like Pamela Anderson, I loved you even more. You gave me so much milk that now I get to donate it to babies who need it.

But now nearly two weeks after the birth looking back at what you did and how gracefully, naturally and lovingly you did it all.... I love you even more.

You've changed me.
Body, I bow to you." -peta kelly
