Brooke has been doing pretty well since coming home a week ago. She has been complaining of pain in her right knee, hip, side, shoulder and neck and occasionally the back of her head. She is very excited that the staples will be coming out early tomorrow morning under sedation. After the staples are out we will head across the street to the PENN Pearlman Center to start radiation. She will have it for 2 weeks daily M-F and they will be radiating her total brain and skull. Please pray that the side effects will be minimal especially cognitively.
